Welcome to the Balmoral Motel.  We are celebrating our ninth year in Tatamagouche and the 45th Anniversary of the Balmoral's Opening in 1967.  Since taking the motel over in 2003 we have made some major renovations and changes, covering everything from new Simmons Beautyrest beds to removing the old-fashioned wall panelling and wallpaper in rooms in the old section.  But we've kept the great water views, the quiet atmosphere, and the great sleep you get here!

You will find we have a different approach than many hotels and motels. Our philosophy is that the quoted price should be theprice you pay. So we don't charge extra for breakfast, internet, long distance phone calls, or a daily newpaper.  We have also computerized our reservation and check-in process, ensuring that you spend the minimum time on paperwork and the maximum time enjoying your visit.  

Last year we removed carpet from 10 rooms and replaced it with a combination of wood laminate in the bedroom areas and porcelain tile in the bathrooms and entry.

This year we have  completely renovated our two pet-friendly rooms, replacing the  wood panelling with drywall, replacing the carpet with ceramic tile, and renewing the bathrooms.

We have also improved the WIFI network, and expect to implement password control for your security before the end of the summer. We have also added programmable LED signs on our main sign, dramatically increasing our visibility.
